 Spring Anime Review So Far

The spring anime lineup has been nothing short of amazing. So many great shows have aired, from new series like Spy x Family to returning shows like Kaguya-sama Love is War. However, I try to look at new shows that have aired and give you my first impressions of how the show has been during the season. Usually, I do one show, but with so many great new series that have started, there are three shows I want to talk about in this review so far.

RPG Real Estate - Rent Plan Guide for You

This year has been quite difficult for me, as some of you may know. One of the most challenging things I have had to do this year was buy a new house, and house hunting was horrific. This series definitely resonated with me because of my situation not long ago.

RPG Real Estate follows four girls, Kotone Kazairo, Fa, Rufuria, and Rakira, who work at a fantasy RPG real estate business. They are tasked with finding homes for the various denizens looking to move to the big city. These folks come from all walks of life and are also different fantasy races. Think of this as your typical RPG fantasy anime, complete with levels, skills, and abilities, and then add that a bunch of adventurers run a real estate company to find homes for anyone.

The show itself is cute, has a nice pace, and reminds me of Is The Order A Rabbit? The characters are fun and charming. The show managed to sneak in a story even though the episodes have a different issue or theme that the group has to overcome. Overall, it's a great slice of life/fantasy anime, and if you're looking for something chill to watch, I recommend this series. You can watch this show on Crunchyroll.

The Executioner and Her Way of Life

This show caught me by surprise. I was not expecting this show to have some great twists. Don't worry; I won't spoil anything here. I've only watched a handful of the episodes, but what I have seen so far is pretty good. The story follows Menou, an executioner that specializes in assassinating people. One of her missions fails, and it is up to her to find a way to assassinate her target. Again, the twists are pretty good, and I'm not one for spoiling it.

What I also like about the show is the graphics and fight scenes. It is entertaining and fast-paced. The story itself is shaping up to be quite interesting. I feel that things are going to get complicated as the character progresses through her mission. You can watch this show on HiDive if you are interested.

Love After World Domination

The show that has captivated me the most during the season is Love After World Domination. Think Romeo and Juliet crossed with The Power Rangers. I know that sounds silly, but trust me, this cute rom-com has genuinely put a smile on my face.

The story involves two organizations; Gekko, the evil organization, bent on world domination, and the hero group, Freezing Sentai Gelato 5. During a typical battle between the two groups, Red Gelato Fudo Aikawa clashes with Gekko's newest member, the Reaper Princess Desumi Magahara. Despite being mortal enemies, Desumi and Fudo fall in love. Now they have to progress their relationship while keeping their forbidden love a secret from both organizations. This show is funny and cute, and you can't help but root for their success. The fight scenes are great, and the animation is good as well. I like most, though, the progression of Desumi and Fudo's relationship and character development. Check this show out on Crunchyroll if you want to watch something fun and light-hearted.

Team Imouri is currently working on a new video review that will be debuting shortly. Once that is done, we will be returning to our regularly scheduled review voting. I hope you all check out these shows. See you later!
